Ever wonder how to make gold on World of Warcraft easy without doing anything to risk losing your account? I freaking have! Well, since Cataclysm making gold is extremely easy to do. I made 25k in 2 days on my shaman. Now-a-days prices are STUPID in the AH. I mean.....you have an item that dropped in Firelands...which no one even runs anymore since the latest patch...going for 20k plus. Come on guys! What do they even DO with all that money? And we won't even go in to the stupid enchants...OMG. All i want is a power torrent guys....I mean really. Anyways... *rant off* here are some tips on making fast and easy gold.
In World of Warcraft there are a lot of ways to make gold but not all of them are very time efficient. If you want to make the big bucks and work your way toward the mythical 1 million gold cap, then you’re going to want to install a few tools that will help you along your way. These add-ons will do just that.
1. Auctioneer – The classic auction house add-on is called Auctioneer and will provide the kind of long term strategy boost you need to be effective in all aspects of the AH. From daily scans to easy checks for low priced value goods to the extra built-in adds on like disenchantrix and bean counter, Auctioneer is a must have for any gold hound.
2. Auctionator – This add-on is very similar to Auctioneer, allowing players the ability to scan auctions and effectively research the different prices that each item will sell at in groups. Instead of single items, you’ll see every stack currently selling at a given price range, allowing you to buy them all out at once.
3. Market Watcher – Another auction house scanner, Market Watcher allows you to research the values of specific items on a watch list which you can then plot and chart over a time period to see how those values rise and fall. There are websites with similar data charts, but Market Watcher lets you personalize your data more easily.
4. Postal – Postal is a tool to make your mailbox more efficient. It allows you to open more mail at once, access more mail when you have tons of incoming messages and expand the sending limits when transferring items and gold back and forth.
5. Gatherer – Gatherer allows you to create and follow plotted points across a major zone to find verified ore and herb nodes. This also works for fishing and skinning, though the data is not nearly as accurate with either of those professions as with the two main gathering profs.It helps... GET IT! Even more so than any of these other 4 that are listed!
After you get these, you're all set to start farming. Hit Uldum or the ore, and Twilight Highlands if Uldum is too packed. Also the best place to farm for herbs is Twilight Highlands for the twilight herbs there, or Azshara's Veil in Vashj'ir as these 2 sell for the most since they make the highest selling flasks on the AH. This is literally all I did to make 25k in 2 days...no joke. I spent about 4 hours on each day just farming these and creating red gems on my jewelcrafter that sell for 300-400g a pop after prospecting the ore. With the green gems I made green rings and necklaces...and sold the ones that were made as blues for 200-300g a pop, and sent them to my enchanter to disenchant. Then I made the highest selling enchants and sold them as well. All it takes is farming some ore and some herbs! Remember that the herbs sell for more than the flasks on most servers, so just sell the herbs.
This guide is very useful in easy gold earning tips and is worth it. It has many other routes you can take other than the one I just posted if that doesn't work for you like it worked for me. Don't let yourself go broke before Mists of Panderia comes out and then they charge 10k for those new shiny mounts and boe items you drool over. Good luck to you guys, I mean it!
